Terms
Terms of use and pre-registration
These terms apply when you use thetripx.in and when you pre-register for TRIPX. Please read the part about pre-registration: it explains what signing up does, and what it doesn’t.
Who we are
“TRIPX”, “we” and “us” mean the TRIPX team, who are building the TRIPX navigation pod and app in India. Our business details are on the Legal page. You can reach us at hello@thetripx.in.
Pre-registration
TRIPX isn’t on sale yet. Pre-registering puts your email address on a list for launch news.
- It’s free. We never ask for payment, a deposit or card details to pre-register.
- It isn’t an order, booking or reservation. Nothing is set aside for you, and you don’t have to buy anything, now or later.
- Nothing is promised. Pre-registering doesn’t guarantee a price, a launch date, availability, a unit, a discount or any special offer. If we ever make an offer to pre-registered riders, we’ll state its terms clearly at the time.
- What you’ll get: emails about the TRIPX launch, including pricing and when you can buy one.
- Leaving is easy. Ask us at any time and we’ll stop emailing you and delete your details. See the privacy notice.
Please give your own, accurate details, and pre-register only if you’re 18 or over.
Product information
TRIPX is in development. Unless we say otherwise:
- the pod shown is a prototype, and its design, features and specifications may change before launch;
- product pictures are renders or illustrations, not photographs of a finished production unit; the photo of the motorcycle is credited where it appears, and TRIPX was added to it as a render;
- the screens shown are real screens from the TRIPX software, and may change before launch;
- we publish size, weight, battery life, water resistance and brightness only once they’re measured on the final product.
Nothing on this site is an offer to sell. If and when TRIPX goes on sale, the price, taxes, delivery, cancellation, returns, refunds and warranty will be set out in separate sale terms before you can order.
Riding safely
- Your safety and the road come first. Plan your route before you ride, look at TRIPX only in a glance, and stop safely before changing anything in the app.
- Follow traffic law, road signs and the police. Directions on TRIPX don’t override them.
- TRIPX shows what your phone sends it. It depends on your phone, its GPS, its Bluetooth connection, its mobile data and the map data, and any of these can be wrong, late or unavailable. Use your own judgement.
- Mount TRIPX so it doesn’t block your view, your controls or your instruments, and check it’s secure before you ride.
- Figures in Sport Mode, such as lean angle and g-force, are estimates shown for interest. They are not a safety aid and shouldn’t be relied on.
Using the site
Please use thetripx.in lawfully. Don’t try to break or overload it, get around its security, send automated or fake sign-ups, or copy it in bulk.

Our responsibility
We work to keep this site accurate and available, but it may contain mistakes or be unavailable at times, and it describes a product that is still in development. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that can’t be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top, and if a change matters to people who have pre-registered, we’ll email them.
